Carbon and Environmental Management Group (CEMG)

The CEMG is chaired by the Vice-Chancellor and sets out the environmental management strategy for the University; meeting quarterly to review progress. The group includes representatives from a variety of stakeholders including students, academic staff, Human Resources, Procurement and Estates.

Estates Energy & Sustainability Group (EESG)

The CEMG is supported at an operational level by the EESG. This is chaired by the Director of Estates and meets monthly to review operational reporting against the Carbon and Environmental Management Plan (CEMP). It includes representatives from the Estates department including operations, projects and the University’s Facilities delivery partner.
